Other notable bishops

[edit]

The paragraph on other notable bishops is unreferenced. It is cut-and-pasted from the Catholic Encyclopedia. The criteria for making these bishops (one of whom was never consecrated a bishop, and several of whom were non-residential in the diocese) are vague. For example, "reformers after the Council of Trent" can apply to any bishop after 1563, all of whom were expected to enforce the decrees of the Ecumenical Council, which had been approved by several popes.

In addition, the names and achievements of these bishops appear in the list of bishops, and there are separate articles on several of them.

I think the section ought to be folded into their mentions in the list of bishops.
